Khaberni - Portuguese star Vitinha scored three goals contributing to an exciting victory for Paris Saint-Germain over their guest Tottenham Hotspur with a score of 5-3, as the French giant repeated their superiority over their London counterpart after taking the European Super Cup from them with penalties at the start of this season.
Tottenham Hotspur did not capitalize on their two-time lead in the score with goals from Richarlison and Randal Kolo Muani in the 35th and 50th minutes but PSG managed to equalize with two goals from Vitinha in the 45th and 53rd minutes and went ahead with a trio of goals scored by Fabian Ruiz, Vitinha, and Willian Batcho in the 59th, 65th, and 75th minutes, while Tottenham narrowed the gap with a third goal scored by Kolo Muani in the 72nd minute.
With this win, Paris Saint-Germain increased their points to 12 and moved up to the second place, boosting their chances of directly qualifying for the round of 16 as one of the top 8 teams in the standings, before visiting Athletic Bilbao in Spain in the sixth round on December 10th.
As for Tottenham, they have not healed their wounds from the recent 1-4 defeat against Arsenal in the English Premier League just days prior, as their points froze at 8, placing them fifteenth, after suffering their first defeat in the Champions League, before hosting Slavia Prague in the sixth round.
