Khaberni - The Jordanian Song Festival 2025 jury completed their observation of the final rehearsal this evening, held at the main stage of the Royal Cultural Center, in preparation for the closing ceremony that will take place tomorrow, Thursday 27/11/2025 at 7:00 PM, under the patronage of the Minister of Culture, Mustafa Al-Rawashdeh.
The rehearsal was closely monitored by the committee, which observed the performance of the ten finalists who presented new Jordanian songs specifically written, composed, and arranged by Jordanian artists for the competition, accompanied by an outstanding musical band led by Dr. George Asaad.
After the rehearsal, the jury—comprising the poet Ali Al-Betiri, Dr. Mohammad Wasef, Dr. Haitham Skarieh, artist Wael Al-Sharqawi, and artist Mustafa Sha'sha'a—held a special session to set the final criteria that will be relied upon to select the winners of the festival awards.
For its part, the Directorate of Music and Performing Arts at the Ministry of Culture, the organizing body of the festival, in cooperation with the Jordanian Artists Association, completed all logistical and technical preparations for the ceremony, while the festival director artist Hussein Daghimat, the director of the Royal Cultural Center artist Wasfi Al-Taweel, and some members of the artists' union board, followed the final rehearsal and subsequent arrangements.
The audience anticipates a special musical evening culminating in the announcement of the winners, in a celebration that emphasizes the presence of the Jordanian song and celebrates the joy of its creators.
