Khaberni - The Kingdom experienced, from the late night hours of Monday, 24/11/2025, until the evening of Tuesday, 25/11/2025, a state of atmospheric disturbance which resulted in rainfalls of varying intensity, random and irregular in nature, concentrated in several areas, and accompanied by thunder, lightning, and limited hail in parts, leading to the formation of sudden floods in some valleys and low areas.

According to the data issued by the Meteorological Department, the rain accumulations during this condition contributed to improving the rainy season 2025/2026 with ratios ranging from 1% to 6% of the general seasonal average in several areas.

The Salt station recorded the highest rainfall total during the event at 15.6 mm (3% of its seasonal average), followed by the Baqura station with 15.0 mm (4%), and then the Ramtha station with 13.5 mm (6%).

In the capital, Amman, the King Hussein Gardens station recorded 8.0 mm (2% of its seasonal average), while the Tafilah station in the southern part of the Kingdom recorded 5.4 mm (3% of its seasonal average).

Raed Rafed Al-Khateb, the Director of Meteorology, explained that “the precipitation accompanying the condition had a positive impact on the rainy season, especially in the northern regions which are now around their general expected averages for this time of the year, confirming that Meteorology continues to monitor the season's performance, and that such random events effectively contribute to enhancing the precipitation balance.”

Al-Khateb added that the rainy season is still below its usual rates in parts of central and southern Kingdom, and we look forward to more rainy conditions in the upcoming period to improve the overall situation.

He called on the citizens to always adhere to the warnings issued by Meteorology, especially to stay away from watercourses and streams during weather conditions, as we are approaching the winter season, and to avoid any weather bulletins not issued by the Meteorological Department to prevent any confusion.

That might occur.
