Khaberni - Zain Jordan, through its innovation platform (ZINC), provided sponsorship as a strategic partner for the international conference "Institutional Excellence in an AI-Driven Environment ExAI’25", hosted by the pink city of Petra over three days, under the patronage of Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Al-Hassan, organized by "ZeeDimension" and "Cibal" for consultancy and studies, along with the Information Technology and Communications Association "Intaj", with wide participation from experts, decision-makers, and speakers from inside and outside Jordan.
The conference, which was inaugurated by the State Minister for Public Sector Development, Engineer Badriya Al-Balbeisi, acting on behalf of the Prime Minister, aimed to enhance the readiness of institutions for smart institutional transformation and achieve competitive excellence through the integration of institutional data and digital transformation tools and smart practices. The events focused on showcasing modern applications and successful global institutional models, alongside discussing ways to build the capabilities of leaders and decision-makers in understanding and employing artificial intelligence in the evaluation and improvement processes, enabling institutions to integrate AI tools in strategic decision-making, as well as enhancing partnerships between the public and private sectors and supporting investment in the smart excellence economy, and building resilient data-based institutions.
Zain participated through its innovation platform (ZINC) with a special pavilion that included two startups from the companies it incubates, which work in the fields of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, (Avancer) and (Skids). They showcased the innovative technological solutions they offer, based on cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, aimed at meeting the needs of institutions across various sectors, where Al-Balbeisi visited the pavilion and was briefed on the main projects and solutions offered by the companies, and listened to a detailed explanation about their business models and applications that contribute to supporting the digital transformation path in the kingdom.
The conference featured an important panel discussion presented by Jordanian entrepreneur Amjad Masad, founder and CEO of the global company Replit, under the title "AI, Builders, and the Next $1B Companies". He discussed the future of institutions and companies in the era of artificial intelligence, the role of developers and technology entrepreneurs in building the next generation of billion-dollar companies, emphasizing the importance of adopting AI technologies to develop more flexible business models capable of keeping up with changes.
Zain's sponsorship of this conference is part of its leading role in supporting the pathways of digital transformation, enhancing the adoption of the latest technologies in the business and institutional environment, and its ongoing efforts to support the entrepreneurship sector and enhance the innovation environment in the Kingdom, by empowering Jordanian startups and providing them the opportunity to participate in major specialized events regionally, contributing to the expansion of their presence, development of their capabilities, and enhancing their competitiveness at both local and international levels.
