Khaberni - As part of the College of Information Technology's commitment at Arab Amman University to continual communication with students and to enhance an active partnership with them, the college held an interactive meeting with students from various disciplines and academic levels, to listen to their opinions and suggestions about the educational process, attended by Dr. Rami Sahweil, Dean of the College, and Dr. Malek Al-Jawarneh, Vice Dean of the College, and Dr. Afaf Adinat, and Dr. Kamal Aliyan, Assistant Deans, and Dr. Majhem Al-Tarawneh, Head of Software Engineering Department, and Dr. Thamer Al-Sarayreh, Head of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Department, and Dr. Firas Abu Al-Adas, Head of Computer Science Department, and Dr. Saeed Al-Tahat, Head of Cyber Security Department.

 

This meeting aimed to address the most significant challenges faced by the students in their academic journey and to give them the opportunity to express their opinions by discussing issues and challenges, in addition to presenting constructive proposals and ideas aimed at developing the college and improving the quality of academic services provided.

 

Dr. Sahweil praised the high level of awareness and responsibility shown by the students, and the maturity of their ideas and proposals, confirming that the college's administration pays great attention to their opinions as they are primary partners in the educational process. He explained that all the issues raised would be carefully studied, and practical and realistic solutions will be worked on within the available possibilities, emphasizing the college’s continual effort to provide an educational environment that stimulates creativity and excellence, keeping up with technological developments and job market requirements, and affirmed that such periodic meetings effectively enhance the communication bridges and trust between the administration and students, and the Dean's door is always open to receive students and listen to their concerns and needs.

 

This meeting was held in implementation of the directives of Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Widian, President of Arab Amman University, who is keen on having direct communication channels between the college and the students to ensure the follow-up of their academic and social needs, enhance the level of communication with the students, within the framework of the university's efforts to provide an educational environment that stimulates and supports academic and professional development and enhances the spirit of responsibility and initiative among them, thereby ensuring the preparation of distinguished graduates capable of facing the challenges of the job market and effectively contributing to serving the community.
