Khaberni - The Al Ain Court for Civil, Commercial and Administrative Claims ruled that two young men must pay 3,900 AED to a man after they deceived him about their ability to provide an "IELTS" certificate.

The details of the case go back to when the defendants contacted the plaintiff and convinced him to pay a monetary amount in exchange for obtaining the "IELTS" certificate without taking the test, which led him to transfer 2,900 AED before he realized that he had fallen victim to electronic fraud.
The court confirmed in its reasoning that the defendants had deceitfully taken the amount, and that the damage suffered by the plaintiff was represented in the loss of his money and deprivation of benefit, in addition to the psychological harm resulting from the incident, warranting compensation.

Accordingly, the court ruled that the defendants must return the misappropriated amount, and pay compensation worth a thousand AED, along with mandating them to pay the fees and expenses.
