Khaberni - The College of Nursing at Middle East University organized an orientation session for its new students, attended by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Ahmad Al-Lozi, the Dean of the College, Dr. Samira Al-Habashneh, the Director of Cultural Affairs and Public Relations and Media, Professor Reem Al-Barhoumi, and the Dean of Student Affairs
Dr. Hazem Al-Nasour, and a number of faculty members, along with a gathering of students.
In her speech, Dr. Al-Habashneh said that the college operates according to a comprehensive vision that focuses on preparing nursing cadres capable of balancing robust scientific knowledge and the human dimension integral to the essence of the profession, through advanced educational programs and practical training tracks that align with health sector standards
locally and regionally.
For her part, Al-Barhoumi emphasized the importance of preparing a qualified generation of healthcare leaders, capable of serving the community efficiently and responsibly, and contributing to building a sustainable health system that responds to future needs.
In his turn, Dr. Al-Nasour discussed the vital role of student activities and clubs in honing students' skills and enhancing their personalities and their sense of university belonging, affirming the importance of the services provided by the Career Guidance Office, including free specialized courses in resume development, and empowering
students to enter the job market with confidence and efficiency.
The event featured an awards ceremony for the top students from Jordan and Saudi Arabia, with representatives from the cultural attaché including Qassem Hwaitat.
