Khaberni - Deputy Tareq Bani Hani criticized the absence of ministers and senior officials in the field during the recent weather conditions, which saw heavy rainfall and caused street flooding and traffic disruptions in several areas.

Bani Hani stated that what happened reveals a clear deficiency in crisis management, emphasizing the necessity of officials' presence in the field to enhance readiness and survey the extent of the damage on the ground, instead of merely monitoring from their offices.

He affirmed that citizens were expecting an urgent response from the government proportional to the extent of the congestion in some roads and infrastructure, pointing out that the absence of officials raises many questions about the adopted emergency plans.

Bani Hani demanded an investigation to identify the problems and immediate actions to ensure that these scenes do not repeat with any coming weather depressions, along with enhancing coordination between service entities, municipalities, and specialized agencies.
