Khaberni - Reaffirming its commitment to promoting a healthy and safe work environment, Capital Bank organized a special health day at its headquarters on World Diabetes Day, aimed at raising awareness about the importance of prevention and encouraging employees to adopt healthy lifestyles.
The health day, held in collaboration with Uni Lab, included a series of free medical tests for bank employees, notably blood pressure and sugar level measurements, in addition to providing optional blood tests that help meet health insurance requirements and promote ongoing preventative care. Magma Lifestyle Club also supported the event with an InBody body composition analyzer, which provided employees with a more accurate health assessment.
The event also featured educational sessions with nutrition expert Dina Al Salem, who provided practical guidance on a balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle suitable for those at risk of developing diabetes, emphasizing the importance of early screening and regular follow-ups for maintaining overall health. Special discount vouchers were also distributed to encourage employees to continue adopting practices that enhance their physical and mental health.
In her comment on this initiative, Tulin Barto, the Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications at Capital Bank, stated that this initiative aligns with the bank's firm commitment towards its employees and its dedication to providing a work environment that supports their health and safety, explaining that investing in employee well-being is a direct investment in performance quality and productivity.
