Capital Bank Enhances Health Culture for Employees with Awareness Session in Collaboration with King Hussein Cancer Foundation

Khaberni - Driven by its continuous commitment to the safety and wellbeing of its human resources in the workplace, Capital Bank organized a comprehensive virtual awareness session for its employees about cancer, in collaboration with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation, coinciding with World Cancer Day.

This initiative reflects the bank's belief that its human resources constitute the fundamental pillar of its success and the sustainability of its operations, placing the health and safety of employees at the top of its strategic priorities. The session, held via video communication technology, focused on providing participants with necessary knowledge about risk factors, prevention methods, the importance of early detection, and regular screenings which directly contribute to increased healing rates.

The session also addressed encouraging employees to adopt a healthy lifestyle as a primary preventive tool, enhancing employees' ability to take proactive health behaviors. This session with the "King Hussein Cancer Foundation" reflects Capital Bank's commitment to providing a supportive work environment that cares for the health and preventive side of its employees, through the ongoing organization of educational activities and purposeful awareness initiatives.

As part of its commitment to the health of its workforce, the bank has provided them with non-profit Takaful insurance coverage, affiliated with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation since 2001. This insurance is the only guarantee for covering treatment costs at the King Hussein Cancer Center, one of the best centers specializing in cancer treatment in the Arab world, without waiting for procedures or approvals.
