Khaberni - Al-Hussein Irbid football team starts its training in Iran today, Sunday, in preparation to meet Sepahan Isfahan team on the upcoming Wednesday, in the fifth round of the Asian Champions League 2.
The delegation of Al-Hussein team left Amman yesterday, Saturday, waiting to conduct two training sessions in Iran today, Sunday, and tomorrow, Monday, in preparation for the match that will be held next Tuesday.
This match is the third for Al-Hussein Irbid in the tournament, where they won against the Sepahan team from Iran with a score of 1-0, and also won against the Turkmen team Ahhal with a score of 4-1, before taking a break in the last two rounds due to the withdrawal of the Mohun Bagan team from India from the tournament.
Al-Hussein Irbid team, representing Jordanian football in the tournament, secured its qualification to the second round after raising its points to 6 from two matches while Sepahan has 4 points and Ahhal one point.
The list of the team departing to Iran under the leadership of Portuguese coach Kim Machado includes Yazid Abu Layla, Murad Al-Faluji, Mahmoud Al-Kawamleh, Saad Al-Rousan, Salem Obaid, Adham Al-Qureshi, Italo Silva, Ali Hajbi, Ahmad Assaf, Ward Al-Bari, Ahmad Obaidat, Pedro Henrique, Laith Fall, Hashem Mbaydeen, Rajai Ayed, Youssef Abu Jalboush "Saisa", Youssef Qishi, Obaida Al-Namarna, Ahmad Bani Mustafa, Arif Al-Haj, Fares Ghattas, Mahmoud Kharouba, Odeh Fakhouri, Abdullah Al-Attar, and Khaldoun Sabra.
It is noted that Al-Wehdat team also represents Jordanian football in the Asian Champions League 2, but the team lost its chance to qualify for the next round.
