Khaberni - A stray dog attacked 5 children in the Kafr Ghawan area, belonging to the Koura District in Irbid Governorate, northern Jordan.
The children, about 7 years old, suffered various injuries from the attack and were transported to Princess Raya Government Hospital for treatment and to follow up on their health condition.
Dr. Mohammad Abu Halawa, the director of Princess Raya Government Hospital, stated that the hospital received the children and provided medical support to them, noting that their general condition is stable, they have left the hospital, and will continue with rabies vaccination doses according to the health protocol.
In recent times, residents of the Kafr Awan area and Koura District, like other areas of Jordan, have complained about the terrifying spread of stray dogs, which has become a real danger threatening the safety of the citizens in general and children in particular.
