Khaberni - The spokesperson of the Public Security Directorate said that the employees of the Drug Enforcement Administration, in coordination with a number of concerned departments, carried out a joint security campaign within the Ruwaished district to follow up on a number of wanted and suspected individuals involved in drug smuggling cases by receiving air balloons and arresting them.
The spokesperson confirmed that during the campaign, seven locations where the wanted individuals were present were raided; six of them were arrested, and quantities of narcotic pills and balloons designated for smuggling and a number of firearms were seized. Among those arrested was a person classified as very dangerous, while one was found in possession of 20,000 narcotic pills and another was found with 5,000 narcotic pills.
