Khaberni - The Jordanian House of Representatives will discuss tomorrow, Monday, a set of laws, most notably the insurance contracts law, amid observers' fears of a new increase in the prices of mandatory vehicle insurance.
The following is a list of laws that the council will discuss:
1- Draft amendment to the Electronic Transactions Law for the year 2025.
2- Draft amendment to the Notary Law for the year 2025.
3- Draft amendment to the Law of Waqfs and Islamic Affairs and Sanctities for the year 2025.
4- Draft amendment to the Sharia Implementation Law for the year 2025.
5- Draft Gas Law for the year 2025.
6- Draft law on the ratification of the Agreement on Extradition of Persons between the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Kingdom of Spain for the year 2025.
7- Draft law on the ratification of the executive agreement for the assessment, development, and exploitation of copper and associated minerals in (Abu Khashiba area) concluded between the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan represented by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and Wadi Araba Minerals Company with the license to engage in the exploration, mining, development, operation, and production of minerals (copper and associated minerals) and marketing them to Wadi Araba Minerals Company for the year 2025.
8- Draft amendment to the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Law for the year 2025.
9- Draft law on the ratification of the Agreement on Extradition of Persons between the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the year 2025.
10- Draft Insurance Contracts Law for the year 2025.
11- Draft law on the ratification of a loan agreement between the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Government of the Republic of Italy for the year 2024.
