Khaberni - The Spanish newspaper AS revealed that Moroccan international Brahim Diaz is going through a crucial phase in his career with Real Madrid, where the player will return after the last international break with a stronger desire to establish himself in the team's main lineup.
The newspaper believes that Diaz sees this period as a golden opportunity to secure the vacant position on the right flank of the Spanish team's attack, which sees significant competition among several players within the team.
The newspaper explained that the right wing position has been without a fixed owner, with Mastantonio having started nine games, along with trying Camavinga in some major fixtures—an idea that succeeded in the Clasico but failed at Anfield. Moreover, Brahim himself has occupied it on several occasions despite his few starts this season.
AS confirmed that the Moroccan international believes the current conditions are favorable to strongly present himself, especially after his last appearance with "the Royal" against Rayo Vallecano, at a time when Mastantonio is experiencing health issues.
According to the newspaper, Diaz considers this the perfect moment to fight his battle for more playing time and to win the trust of Spanish coach Xabi Alonso.
It is worth mentioning that Brahim Diaz has not played much this season with Real Madrid, after Xabi took over the team, as he was getting more playing time under former coach Carlo Ancelotti.
