Neuer Ready to overtake Paris SaintGermain and Berlin has missed us

Khaberni -  Bayern Munich's goalkeeper, Manuel Neuer, confirmed that he missed Berlin, after the team qualified for the final of the German Cup for the first time since 2020.

Neuer said after Bayern Munich's 2-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen: "We could definitely have scored more goals".

He added: "I missed Berlin, it's always a great match there, a historic day for the entire club".

The final match of the German Cup traditionally takes place at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin.
Bayern's last participation in the final was in the 2019-2020 season, when they defeated Leverkusen and won the title.

Since that time, the team has had a tough journey in the tournament, including being eliminated three times in the second round.

Bayern has already clinched the league title, and alongside the German Cup, the team is still in contention for the UEFA Champions League title.

Before thinking about the cup final on May 23, where Bayern will meet either Stuttgart or Freiburg, Bayern needs to focus on the UEFA Champions League semi-final match against Paris Saint-Germain, with the first leg taking place next Tuesday.

Neuer said: "It's important that we are present in all tournaments, we deserve to win the league title, we need to focus on our matches, we know the competitors in the Champions League, the match against Paris Saint-Germain will be a tough one but we are ready to win it."
