Moussa AlTaamari Shines in Victory Over Monaco and Achieves the Highest Rating

Khaberni - Jordanian national team player Moussa Al-Taamari excelled during his team Rennes' match against Monaco, which ended with his teammates winning 4-1. The match was held on the grounds of Roazhon Park, stronghold of Rennes, as part of round 13 of the French league.

Moussa Al-Taamari received the highest rating in the match according to several applications specializing in evaluating players' performance. He also received high ratings from other applications that ranked him among the best players of the match.

Al-Taamari contributed to his team’s second goal after shooting a powerful ball that the goalkeeper deflected, allowing his teammate Mehdi Camara to follow up into the net.

Al-Taamari continues to excel in his new position, as the team's coach prefers to play him on the left flank.

 

Match Details:

 Rennes scored the opening goal in the 20th minute of the first half through their player Abdelhamid Ait Boudlal.

The team added the second goal in the 48th minute of the second half by Mehdi Camara, following up on Al-Taamari's shot.

 Denis Zakaria of Monaco received a red card in the 66th minute.

 Breel Embolo strengthened the score by recording the third goal in the 73rd minute following a decisive pass from Przemysław.

 Ludovic Blas scored Rennes' fourth goal from a penalty.

 Monaco narrowed the score by recording a goal in the fifth minute of stoppage time through player Mika Perez, ending the match with a Rennes victory of 4-1.

 

Standings:

With this victory, Rennes moves up to the fifth position qualifying for the European League with 21 points, while Monaco occupies the eighth spot with 20 points.

 

Paul Pogba’s Return:

The match marked the return of French player Paul Pogba to play after an absence of 811 days from the fields.

Pogba entered the game in the 85th minute of the match against Monaco, replacing Mamadou Koulibaly.

Pogba had been absent due to a suspension imposed by the sports court involving a doping case, where initially the penalty was four years, before being reduced to 18 months, which ended before the start of this season.

Pogba used the suspension period to work on regaining his physical fitness, beginning today his gradual participation against Rennes.
