Khaberni - Libyan content creator Khansa Mujahid was shot dead on the evening of Friday, November 21, 2025, in the Al-Sarraj area west of the capital Tripoli, while inside her car.

The incident occurred as Khansa Mujahid was passing through one of the crowded streets, where she tried to get out of the car when the shooting started, but was hit by bullets before she could escape.

Video clips circulating online showed bullet marks on the car's glass and her body lying on the ground, a scene that shocked the Libyan public opinion and sparked a wave of anger on social media platforms.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the crime targeted her husband Moaz Al-Menfookh, a leader in Zawiya and a former member of the political dialogue committee, with media reports suggesting the involvement of elements from a group of lawbreakers linked to the General Security apparatus and security positions affiliated with the Ministry of Interior of the Government of National Unity.


The Minister of Interior, Imad Al-Tarabulsi, issued instructions to form a team of specialists, to facilitate all capabilities for gathering evidence and investigations that enable the capture of those responsible for the crime and refer them to justice.

Khansa Mujahid was a well-known content creator among internet users, specializing in fashion and beauty content, and owned a women's clothing trade project alongside a beauty salon.

For its part, the United Nations Support Mission in Libya condemned Khansa’s killing, offered condolences to her family, and emphasized that the incident highlights the urgent need to investigate all similar killings and ensure full accountability.
