Khaberni - Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, visited the Saudi Cultural Attaché in Amman and was received by His Excellency Professor Dr. Mohammed bin Khazim Al-Shamri, the Acting Head of the Saudi Cultural Attaché. Discussions included ways of academic cooperation between the university and the attaché, alongside discussing ways to attract more Saudi students and facilitate their admission procedures at Amman Arab University.
During the meeting, which was attended by Nadia Al-Qudimat, Assistant to the President for Finance and Administration, Dr. Wafaa Al-Eid, Dean of the Faculty of Educational and Psychological Sciences, Dr. Fallah Al-Ajmi, Director of the Office for Monitoring Issues and Challenges Facing Students from the Gulf States and Iraq, and Mr. Musa Al-Zahrani, Head of Academic Affairs at the Cultural Attaché, Al-Widyan reviewed the academic performance and excellence of Saudi students at Amman Arab University and their academic progress. Discussions also included ways to enhance academic guidance and support, ensuring their continued success and excellence, in addition to the role of Amman Arab University in preparing skilled and trained cadres to meet the requirements and needs of the local and Arab job market, highlighting the developmental plans implemented by the university to enhance educational quality and university experience through modern academic initiatives based on applied education, project-based learning, and international partnerships. Al-Widyan confirmed that Amman Arab University adopts an advanced system for monitoring the performance of Saudi students and providing academic support and guidance to ensure their excellence, noting that the university works to align its programs with job market needs through the introduction of new specializations, updating academic plans, and employing modern technology and artificial intelligence in the educational process, and outlined the rapid progress the university has made in global rankings, particularly in terms of research citations and learning outcomes, confirming the university's commitment to building an attractive educational environment for students from various brotherly countries.
Dr. Al-Shamri expressed his pride in the distinguished educational relations between the Saudi Cultural Attaché and Amman Arab University, noting the attaché's commitment to monitoring Saudi students academically and socially to ensure the success of their educational experience in Jordan. He praised the advanced level offered by Amman Arab University in terms of academic program quality, adoption of applied education, and maintaining a safe and stimulating university environment for Saudi students. He also appreciated the efforts made by the university in developing new specializations in line with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 and job market trends, especially in fields such as artificial intelligence and business technologies, and confirmed that the attaché is working to expand the scope of cooperation with distinguished Jordanian universities, including Amman Arab University, by supporting joint initiatives and facilitating the exchange of expertise, and implementing training programs that enhance students' skills and capabilities.
