Khaberni - The Moroccan artist and designer Basma Boussel captured attention during her attendance at the second edition of the "THE BEST" festival which began at the foot of the Pyramids, where she appeared in an elegant look with a long black dress and a shiny tiara reflecting her love for Pharaonic civilization.
In her statements, Basma confirmed that the health condition of her ex-husband, artist Tamer Hosny, is heading in a reassuring direction after the delicate surgery he recently underwent in Germany.
She explained that she had wished to accompany him during his treatment period, but visa procedures prevented her travel despite her continuous attempts to obtain it in a timely manner. She added that their daughter Talia accompanied him throughout his stay in the hospital and provided him with significant support until his health improved.
Basma also mentioned that she preferred not to inform their children, Maya and Adam, about Tamer's health details in order to preserve their psychological stability, explaining that she chose to explain the situation to them later in a simple manner after the crisis ended and the critical stage was overpassed.
Boussel spoke about the difficult year that her family had been through, stating that the year 2025 was filled with health challenges and pressures, both in terms of Tamer's condition and the health issues faced by their son. However, she expressed optimism that Tamer's return to Egypt would mark the beginning of a calmer and more stable phase after weeks of anxiety and medical follow-up.
On the artistic front, Basma revealed that she is currently preparing songs for her new album, indicating that she will release the songs individually before compiling them into a complete album, with the intention of giving each song an independent chance to reach the audience in the best way possible.
She concluded her statements by expressing her gratitude to everyone who supported Tamer and prayed for his healing, affirming that the love of the fans was an important support for the family during this sensitive period.
