Khaberni - Claudia Blakolm, the Austrian Minister of Integration, announced at a press conference at the Chancellor’s office the implementation of the hijab ban in schools for children under 14 years of age.
Blakolm said that the hijab ban is now established among a number of new rules and will be applied to girls up to the age of 14 in all schools.
She stated that the federal government has adopted the decision.
