Khaberni - In her first response to the rumors circulating over the past few days regarding her relationship, the Egyptian artist Yasmin Abdelaziz has settled the matter by asserting her lack of interest in marriage and her focus on work only.
Yasmin said in an interview on the sidelines of her participation in "The Best" awards ceremony on Thursday: "I am not in a relationship, and when I do engage in one, I won’t tell anyone, as I am currently only focused on work."
Yasmin participated in the event alongside a large number of Egyptian and Arab stars, among them the artist Mohamed Ramadan, in his first appearance after his father’s death, to whom he dedicated his award.
The event was also attended by stars like Ahmed El Sakka, Ahmed Zaher, Essad Younnes, Mahmoud El Leithy, Emad Meteb, Rahma Mohsen, Hamada Hilal, Radwa El Sherbiny, Basma Boussil, Sameh Hussein, Mostafa Shaban, and others.
New artistic works
On the artistic front, Yasmin is preparing for a new cinematic experience with actor Ahmed El Sakka titled "Be Careful of Yourself", which combines action and light comedy. They return through this to their artistic partnership more than two decades after their first collaboration in the play "Keda Okay" in 2003.
It is scheduled that the shooting of the work will start next Wednesday, and the work stars Lobna Abdel Aziz, Mohamed Redwan, Mostafa Abu Serei, along with a number of prominent faces, and is written by Sherif El Leithy.
Yasmin is also continuing her preparations for her new series "And We Forget What Was," slated for airing in the Ramadan season of 2026. This collaboration brings her together with writer Amr Mahmoud Yassin and director Mohamed El Khebiry, co-starring with her Karim Fahmy, and the series is part of her plans to enhance her presence in Ramadan drama.
