Khaberni - Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas thanked King Abdullah II and the Jordanian people for their ongoing and permanent support for the Palestinian cause in all fields, valuing the major role played by the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization in supporting the Palestinian people, and Jordanian state institutions in providing medical services in Gaza Strip and the West Bank, treating the injured, and working to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people.
This came during his reception, this Thursday evening, at the presidential headquarters in Ramallah, of Dr. Hussein Al-Shibli, the Secretary-General of the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization, in the presence of Issam Al-Badour, the head of the Jordanian representative office in the State of Palestine.
And Dr. Al-Shbli, the Secretary-General of the organization, reviewed the projects undertaken by the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization to support the Palestinian people and deliver aid to alleviate their suffering, especially for the Gaza Strip, under the direct instructions of His Majesty King Abdullah II, who emphasizes providing full support to the Palestinian people and leadership towards achieving freedom and independence.

In turn, Abbas emphasized the importance of removing Israeli obstacles to quickly introduce humanitarian aid into the sector, which is facing extremely difficult conditions.

Abbas also expressed the Palestinian people’s great appreciation for the Jordanian fraternal positions supporting Palestinian rights and supporting the resilience of the Palestinian people on their land, appreciating the positions of His Majesty King Abdullah II and his Crown Prince His Royal Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II rejecting displacement and supporting the Palestinian right to embody the independence of the State of Palestine with its capital, East Jerusalem, valuing the role of the Kingdom in preserving the Islamic and Christian holy places in Jerusalem, originating from the Hashemite custodianship.
