The Neshamy Falcons Arm Themselves with the New Naturalized Player Jalen Harris Before International Events

Khaberni - The Jordanian Basketball Federation announced the addition of American player Jalen Harris (Jalen Harris) to the ranks of our national men's team, "The Neshamy Falcons," as a new naturalized recruit, as part of the federation's plan aimed at enhancing the technical readiness of the team and fulfilling the requirements of upcoming international commitments.


Harris is 27 years old and is known for his ability to play outside the arch in positions (1, 2, and 3), and he is 201 cm tall. He is considered one of the prominent talents that has proven its presence in a number of professional leagues around the world; where he had an experience in the NBA with the Toronto Raptors, in addition to his impactful participations in the G League and the Chinese League, as well as teams in the Canadian CEBL, presenting notable numbers that placed him among the top stars of the teams he played for.


The federation confirms that it has been working in recent times to complete all the legal and administrative procedures related to the naturalization process, and has made significant efforts in cooperation with the relevant authorities to ensure the completion of the player's paperwork and his official registration according to the adopted rules and regulations, and these diligent efforts have been successful. The Jordanian Basketball Federation extends its deep thanks to everyone who contributed to accomplishing the naturalization task of player Jalen Harris.


The federation hopes that Harris's joining will form a qualitative addition to our national team and that his experience and technical capabilities will contribute to supporting the journey of "The Neshamy Falcons" during the upcoming commitments, enhancing the ambitions of the team and the Jordanian fans in the journey to achieving the fourth historical and third consecutive qualification to the World Cup finals.


In an official statement to the Jordanian Basketball Federation's website, Secretary General Ayman Samawi said, "The board of the federation has made significant and intensive efforts during the past period, paying attention to the finest administrative and legal details related to the player, until our efforts were crowned with success in finalizing his registration file and approving his papers according to standards and through official channels, reaffirming the federation's commitment to a professional approach befitting the name of Jordan and the aspirations of its fans."


Samawi added: "The federation welcomes Harris joining the ranks of our national team, and we rely on his great capabilities and extensive experience in making the desired addition, and contributing to enhancing the technical performance and supporting the aspirations of the team in the upcoming commitments, in line with our vision of competing and continuing to achieve successes."


In a related context, the federation has decided to open the doors of Prince Hamza Hall to the public for free during our national team's matches against the Syrian team on the 27th and 30th of this month as part of the first window of the Asian qualifiers for the World Cup finals.


For organizational purposes, fans are required to book their tickets through the "Sajilni" website via the link (https://www.sajilni.com/jbf), a step that confirms the federation's commitment to supporting the team and ensuring wide public attendance, which was also confirmed by Secretary Ayman Samawi.


The national team concluded its training camp in Istanbul, Turkey, where the delegation returns to Amman this evening, after playing three closed friendly matches; two against the Saudi team and one against the Tunisian team, in order to increase the technical and physical readiness of the players.


The delegation of our national team to Turkey included: Canadian Technical Director Roy Rana, Assistant Coaches Makoto Mamiya and Nayef Asfour, Assistant Coach and Performance Development Officer Akaji Okugo, Video Coordinator Raed Ghosheh, Physical Fitness Trainer Ahmad Samir, Physical Therapist Moaz Najib, Team Manager Mohammad Deebas, and Local Referee Zaid Al-Qawasme.


As for the player list, it included: Mohammad Shaher, Ahmad Hamarsheh, Ahmad Husona, Amin Abu Hawas, Malik Kanaan, Akef Sheyab, Basel Abu Abboud, Fadi Qarmash, Yousef Abu Wazna, Yazan Al-Taweel, Adham Al-Dajani, Michel Naffa, Freidy Ibrahim, Abdullah Olajuwon. Center Ahmed Al-Duwairi will join the team's training on the 25th of this month.
