Khaberni - The general manager of Hajj Mahmoud Habibeh and Sons Sweets Factory (original), Hani Habibeh, addressed a message of thanks to His Majesty King Abdullah II for his visit on Tuesday to the company's factory as part of touring industrial facilities in Al-Qastal, south of the capital. He observed their contributions to meeting the Jordanian market’s needs, and their role in exporting local products.
Hani Habibeh expressed his deep gratitude for His Majesty’s gracious visit to the factory, affirming that this visit represents a great honor for the company and its staff, and acts as a strong incentive to continue their journey of work and contribution. He also pointed out that the support from the Hashemite leadership continuously motivates them to develop the food industry sector in Jordan, and to enhance its role in serving the national economy and meeting consumer expectations with high quality and advanced standards.
He stated that the company has achieved a significant qualitative leap in the manufacturing stage, where the production processes are now taking place in the company’s factory located in the Al-Qastal area, while it was previously done at the Habibeh Sweets complex on Medina Street, noting that it is now part of a broader system development aimed at improving quality and enhancing production capacity.
Habibeh considered the visit an additional responsibility that requires the company and its employees to maintain this Jordanian legacy in the confectionery industry, and to continue the path of contribution and raising quality standards to match the reputation of the national product.
The company employs over 500 staff, 90 percent of whom are Jordanians, and it supplies the local market with various types of sweets, while its exports reach more than 20 countries, according to its general manager, Hani Habibeh.
During his visit, His Majesty King Abdullah II toured the factory departments, which currently provide its products through four branches in the Kingdom and three branches in Saudi Arabia. It is considered one of the largest confectionery factories in the Middle East, and His Majesty observed the production lines and listened to an explanation from the company's executive director, Munther Habibeh, about the company's expansion plans, which has been operating for 75 years.
Hani Habibeh and his sons Mehdi Habibeh - Mohand Habibeh - Mahmoud Habibeh - Munther Habibeh welcomed His Majesty during his visit to the factory.
It is noted that Hajj Mahmoud Habibeh and Sons Sweets Factory "original" owns these branches in Jordan and outside the Kingdom, and it has no relation to any branches or shops that falsely claim its name, confirming that it guarantees the best quality and service and does not seek profit at the expense of high quality:
