Khaberni - Today, Thursday, the Israeli occupation forces launched a broad series of incursions and arrests in various cities and towns in the West Bank amidst an intensive military deployment and assaults on residents.

The campaign extended from Ramallah and Hebron to Nablus, Qalqilya, Tubas, Tulkarem, and Jenin, coinciding with settler assaults in the Northern Jordan Valley.

The occupation forces conducted closures and raids in the Ramallah governorate, where they closed the entrance to the village of Ras Karkar west of the city, launched flares in the skies of al-Bireh, and raided the Umm al-Sharayet neighborhood searching for young men.

In the Hebron governorate, the occupation forces tightened their military measures in the city of Hebron and its surroundings, raiding the towns of Beit Ula and Halhul north of the governorate, and deployed military reinforcements towards Beit Ummar, concurrently with an arrest campaign and house raids targeting residents.

In Qalqilya, the city witnessed raids into several neighborhoods including al-Qur’an and al-Naqar neighborhoods, accompanied by house raids and the arrest of the young man Abdullah al-Haj Hassan. Forces were deployed in the city center and carried out extensive search operations.

In Tubas, the occupation forces stormed the town of Tammun south of the city, amidst an intensive military deployment, as well as raided homes and assaulted residents during search operations.

In Tulkarem, the forces raided homes in Azbat Naser southeast of the city, and also stormed the town of Qaffin north of the governorate in a search and arrest campaign.

The Nablus governorate witnessed the most extensive raid operations, where forces advanced from Huwara checkpoint towards several neighborhoods in the city, and stormed the National Hospital Square.

Gunfire was also reported during the raid operations in the city center, and soldiers spread around Al-Ein camp and its surroundings, executing a raid campaign on several homes.

The forces also stormed the towns of Beit Furik, Beita, and Awarta, and carried out extensive arrests in Beit Furik, including the arrest of the young man Mahmoud Bassam al-Haj. Sheikh Omar Mleitat was subjected to a brutal assault resulting in bruises across his body during his detention in the town.

In the town of Salem east of Nablus, the forces arrested the young man Yahya Wajdi Jaber after raiding his home, and also arrested the young man Mohammed Zakarneh from the town of Qabatiya south of Jenin following the infiltration of a special unit into his home.

In the Jenin governorate, the town of Qabatiya experienced a wide encroachment after a special unit entered it, followed by the arrival of large military reinforcements to the town. An arrest campaign and house raids targeting several young men were executed.

Resistance fighters targeted the occupation forces by gunfire early today in the city of Nablus.

In the Northern Jordan Valley, settlers attacked residents and their livestock in Khirbet al-Farasiah, as part of a series of ongoing assaults targeting Bedouin gatherings.

These field developments come as part of a continuous escalation witnessed by the West Bank, where the frequency of incursions, arrests, and assaults is increasing, amid widespread Palestinian calls to escalate the confrontation and resistance and target the occupation and its settlers.
