AlZaytoonah University of Jordan Launches Events for Global Entrepreneurship Week with Programs that Stimulate Creativity and I

Khaberni - As part of the global celebrations for Global Entrepreneurship Week, Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan launched the events of this international occasion marked by extensive academic and student attendance, emphasizing its pioneering role in aligning with global trends towards building an economy based on innovation and supporting youth in transforming their ideas into scalable and impactful initiatives.
During the opening, Dr. Mamoun Abu Hammad, Vice Dean of Student Affairs, affirmed that the university embodies its steadfast commitment to enhancing the entrepreneurial culture among students and providing educational environments that stimulate creativity and excellence through this event. He pointed out that Global Entrepreneurship Week constitutes a critical milestone for inspiring the youth and equipping them with entrepreneurial skills that meet the requirements of the digital economy, with the university continuing to support student projects through advanced programs that enhance their practical abilities.
For her part, Professor Hanan Mura'i, Director of the Career Guidance Office and Alumni Follow-up at the King Abdullah II Development Fund, clarified the importance of enhancing partnerships between national institutions and universities to empower youth and enhance their readiness for employment and innovation. She confirmed that the fund offers an integrated system of programs and activities that contribute to honing students' skills and providing them with promising professional and entrepreneurial paths, indicating that Global Entrepreneurship Week represents an opportunity to acquaint students with sources of support and entrepreneurial project development programs.
Dr. Bilal Al-Wadi, Director of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center at the university and CEO of the Jordanian Association for Entrepreneurship, noted that "entrepreneurial agility" has become a crucial standard for the success of organizations amidst rapid changes. He explained that global studies suggest that organizations adopting flexible models in managing innovation achieve growth rates that may exceed 30% compared to traditional models, while entrepreneurship indices for 2025 show that economies most alert in strategic vigilance are best able to adapt and achieve sustainability. He added that Jordan possesses unique opportunities thanks to digital transformation and the growth of start-ups, affirming that the university adopts advanced methodologies to empower its students by integrating innovation skills in curricula and providing practical platforms to transform ideas into scalable and executable projects.
The week's events include a series of specialized workshops, lectures delivered by local and international entrepreneurs and experts, alongside advisory sessions for students, and presentations of entrepreneurial success stories from various faculties of the university. The university today stands out as one of the national institutions leading in supporting entrepreneurship and innovation, through clear strategies that translate its vision in building a generation capable of competing and making an impact in the national economy.
