Khaberni - The national football team maintained its 66th position in the new international ranking issued by FIFA today. The team also ranked ninth in Asia and eighth in the Arab world.
The Nashama played two friendly matches against the Tunisian and Malian teams during the last international break. They lost the first match with two goals to three and drew the second match nil-nil.
The team will be in the fourth tier during the World Cup draw scheduled for the fifth of next month.
The Moroccan team led the Arab teams in the international ranking, ranking 11th worldwide, followed by the Egyptian team in 34th place, then the Algerian team in 35th place. The Tunisian team ranked fourth among the Arab teams at 40th place, followed by the Qatari team in 51st place, then the Iraqi team in 58th place, and the Saudi team in 60th place.
