Khaberni - Brazilian Eder Militao, a defender at Real Madrid, is suffering from a muscle injury, expected to keep him off the pitch for two weeks.
"Mundo Deportivo" reported that Real Madrid's fears were confirmed after Militao was injured during his participation in the friendly match of Brazil against Tunisia, on Tuesday evening, in the French city of Lille.
In an official statement, the Madrid club announced that medical tests showed that the Brazilian defender has an injury in the adductor muscle of his right leg.
Therefore, Militao will miss the upcoming Real Madrid game against Elche on Sunday, in the Spanish Football League, amid also doubts about the readiness of his defense teammates, Dean Huysen and Antonio Rudiger.
The Spanish newspaper continued, stating that Huysen missed the Spain vs Turkey match due to muscle pain, while Rudiger is nearing a return to the pitch after suffering a thigh injury that kept him out since the league’s second round; however, Rudiger playing from the start against Elche would be a big surprise.
It was also mentioned that Real Madrid is thus suffering a defensive crisis, given the readiness of the duo Raul Asensio and David Alaba, complicating the team's task against Elche, who has been achieving good results under the management of coach Eder Sarabia, gathering 15 points after 12 rounds, and not losing any home games.
"Mundo Deportivo" concluded its report by stating that Militao is expected to be out for two weeks, thus missing the match against Olympiacos in Greece in the Champions League on the following Wednesday, and the game against Girona four days later in the league competition.
