Khaberni - The national kickboxing team delegation from Amman headed to Abu Dhabi today, Wednesday, to participate in the WAKO World Championship, which will take place from the 21st to the 30th of November this year, amid high readiness and great aspirations for honorable results.
The delegation is headed by the President of the Federation, Mohammad al-Jariri, and includes the administrator Ibrahim al-Zuraiki, the doctor Mohammad al-Hunaity, and the international referee Zayed Hammad.
The team roster includes players Mua’yd Haymour (54 kg full contact), Mohammad Fatyan (57 kg full contact), Ibrahim Juma (60 kg full contact), Abdullah Akhras (63.5 kg full contact), Mohammad Wasfi (67 kg full contact), Saleh Subh (under 71 kg full contact), Qais Broumawi (75 kg full contact), Saif al-Din Ladawi (63 kg light contact), and Masoud Abdel Hakim (under 71 kg K1 style) with coaches Talal Anaqreh and Abdullah Bisha overseeing the team's training.
Anaqreh confirmed that the team enters the championship in an excellent state of readiness after an intense preparation program that lasted more than six months, including physical and technical training and local and international camps.
He said: "During the past period, we focused on enhancing the readiness of the players in all aspects and chose the best elements to represent the national team in this global event. We trust in their ability to provide a distinguished performance and achieve results that befit the reputation of Jordanian sports."
