Khaberni - The University of Jordan recorded a notable progress in the Shanghai Global Ranking for Specializations for the year 2025 after including 6 specializations among the best globally, with an increase of 50% over the number of specialties ranked last year. The University of Jordan has led Jordanian universities in terms of the number of listed specialties, and in terms of the number of specialties that ranked first locally.
According to the university's statement on Tuesday, the most prominent results of the University of Jordan included Nursing and Dentistry specialties within the top 300 universities globally, and Mathematics and Telecommunications Engineering within the top 400 universities globally, while Public Health and Education were listed among the top 500 universities globally.
The University also achieved the first rank locally in five of the six ranked specialties, reflecting the level of academic and research performance of the various specialties and the ongoing advancement of the university in international excellence indicators.
This achievement confirms the role of the University of Jordan in enhancing academic and research competitiveness and consolidating its presence in global rankings as the Jordanian educational institution most represented in the Shanghai specializations.
