Khaberni - The Bahraini Ministry of Interior confirmed that the Anti-Narcotics Directorate of the General Directorate of Investigation and Criminal Evidence managed, in separate incidents, to arrest a number of individuals of various nationalities found in possession of narcotics totaling more than 9 kilograms, with a market value exceeding 140,000 Dinars.
The Directorate stated that upon receiving information about the incidents, search and investigation operations were conducted, gathering information and evidence that led to identifying and arresting the suspects found in possession of the narcotics.
The General Directorate of Investigation and Criminal Evidence mentioned that the seized items were secured, necessary legal measures were taken, and the cases were referred to the Public Prosecution.
The Criminal Media Division highlighted the continuation of enhancing community partnership with various entities and groups in the field of drug risk awareness, urging citizens and residents to cooperate with security agencies by reporting any information related to drug smuggling or promotion activities through the hotline (996) or the main operations room (999) or via email [email protected], ensuring complete confidentiality of the information.
