Saudi Arabia Launches Mobile Counter to Facilitate Pilgrims Services

Khaberni - The General Directorate of Passports introduces the "Mobile Counter" at various international outlets (air, land, and sea) to help complete the pilgrimage procedures for the year 1447 AH, by employing the latest technologies that contribute to achieving the highest levels of security, reliability, and facilitate the pilgrimage journey.

The "Mobile Counter" facilitates the completion of procedures for the pilgrims of the Holy House of God, specifically the elderly and persons with disabilities, by capturing biometric data, facial images, and reading passport information smoothly and quickly without waiting.

Kadana Company for Development and Development, one of the Royal Commission for Mecca City and Holy Sites companies, continues to implement its development projects in the holy sites, by completing the second phase of the pilgrim rest areas project on pedestrian paths, as part of its continuous efforts to improve the quality of services provided to the guests of mercy and enhance their spiritual experience.

The company stated that the second phase included the development of an area totaling (36) thousand square meters, adding to more than (30) thousand square meters completed in the first phase during the Hajj season of 1446 AH, bringing the total developed area to more than (66) thousand square meters. This doubles the area that benefits the guests of mercy in this year's Hajj season by about (220%) compared to the previous total area, reflecting a qualitative expansion in the scope of service and increasing the efficiency of the use of the paths.

It was explained that the works included the creation of equipped seating areas, and service kiosks that meet immediate needs, along with modern umbrellas equipped with mist fans to cool the atmosphere, and the use of advanced rubber floors that contribute to improving the pilgrim's experience and enhancing their comfort during movement.

The project embodies "Kadana's" commitment to developing the infrastructure in the holy sites according to the highest standards, which enhances the fluidity of movement between sites, and supports the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Guests of Mercy Service Program, providing a more comfortable, smooth, and tranquil Hajj journey.
