Khaberni - An American woman named Marisara Mimig from Boston has appealed to the Jordanian government to issue a general pardon that includes prisoners who have completed reconciliation procedures and paid the blood money.
She said in a circulating video that these men are still behind bars even though they "paid the blood" and completed reconciliation agreements, describing their continued detention as "unfair".
She explained that she follows the cases of several prisoners in Jordan who "made peace", but they have not received a pardon yet, while their families wait for them impatiently.
She emphasized that her main message is that "pardon is the key", insisting that giving a second chance should be a right for everyone regardless of religion or background. She concluded her appeal by urging the Jordanian government to listen to the voice of these people and grant them freedom.
