Experts in the tourism sector emphasized in a previous conversation with "Khaberni" the importance of supporting domestic tourism in light of the decline in the number of Jordanians leaving for tourism purposes.
They emphasized the necessity of providing suitable tourism infrastructure that encourages Jordanians to turn to domestic tourism, alongside expanding the "Our Jordan is a Paradise" program to include new tourist destinations, featuring hotels of various categories and at lower costs, with special offers for Jordanian tourists.
The Association of Travel and Tourism Agents previously mentioned that favorite destinations for Jordanians include cities in Turkey (Antalya, Trabzon, Istanbul), in addition to Egypt, specifically Sharm El-Sheikh.
