Khaberni - U.S. Congressman Thomas Massie (Republican) revealed that the secret files associated with the Jeffrey Epstein scandal include the names of at least 20 high-profile figures, among them politicians, billionaires, and film producers, suspected of involvement in crimes that have yet to be investigated.
Massie said in statements to "ABC": "I do not expect to speculate on what these files contain. I have spoken with survivors through their lawyers, and we know that these files contain the names of at least 20 people. Among them are politicians, billionaires, and film producers involved in crimes, but they have not been investigated."
This comes after Democratic Senator Chris Murphy indicated that U.S. President Donald Trump seems "extremely concerned" about the release of the Epstein files, as there is a reference to his name in the documents.
On November 12, Democrats in the U.S. Congress revealed three letters from Epstein indicating that the U.S. president might have been aware of Epstein's sexual crimes. The White House described this as political manipulation and an attempt to distract from the Congress's agenda.
It is expected that the secret documents will reveal more high-profile names involved in the scandal, which still has repercussions unfolding in political and media circles in the United States.
