Khaberni - The French TV channel "BFM TV" was forced to stop its broadcast for about two and a half hours on Saturday, after a bomb threat at its headquarters, which led to the evacuation of the building.
The channel mentioned in a post on the social media site "X" that the channel's offices were evacuated following a security alert, and security forces arrived at the site to investigate.
It added that the broadcast of the channel was suspended on all platforms.
According to the French newspaper "Le Parisien", employees of the "BFM TV" channel left the headquarters at 15:19 local time, after receiving a call from an unknown person who said that an explosion would occur in the building at 15:15.
It was later determined that the alert was false, and the channel's employees were able to return to work, and the broadcast resumed at 17:50 Paris time.
