Under the patronage of the President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan, and in the presence of the acting Saudi Cultural Attaché in Jordan Khaberni - Professor Dr. Muhammad Al-Shammari, the orientation meeting for the new students in the College of Nursing for the academic year 2025-2026 was held, .
The meeting was attended by the Dean of the College of Nursing, Professor Dr. Khaldoun Hamdan, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Mustafa Al-Attiyat, and faculty members of the college..
Andthe event included welcoming speeches, starting with a speech by the university president Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan who welcomed the new students, emphasizing the university's commitment to providing an educational environment that fosters excellence and innovation.
This was followed by a speech from the acting Saudi Cultural Attaché Professor Dr. Muhammad Al-Shammari who praised the university's efforts in offering quality academic programs that contribute to preparing outstanding nursing cadres.
Dean of the College of Nursing, Professor Dr. Khaldoun Hamdan, also gave a speech in which he expressed his pride in welcoming a group of new students to the college, highlighting the importance of the nursing profession in serving the community and improving the health sector.
During the meeting, student Omar Al-Anzi spoke on behalf of his fellow newcomers, expressing their gratitude and pride in joining this educational institution.
Dr. Manal Al-Satri, representing the department heads, gave a presentation that included an overview of the College of Nursing, its vision, mission, core values, and advisory plan, along with the college's facilities and centers, including the Women's Health Center and the Health Training Center of Al-Ahliyya Amman University .
The program included a short introductory video about the College of Nursing and its facilities and educational laboratories, in addition to a speech by Ms. Zeina Abu Al-Samen, Director of the Counseling and Graduate Follow-up Office, who reviewed the most important services and programs offered by the office to support students during their academic journey and after graduation.
The meeting witnessed a large attendance of new students in the College of Nursing who showed great interaction and eagerness to get acquainted with their new university environment and start their academic journey with confidence and ambition.
