Sudden Shift Chelsea Rivals Lyon for Signing Endrick

Khaberni - Spanish press reports, quoting "Cadena Ser", revealed a sudden development in the future course of the young Brazilian striker Endrick Felipe, a star at Real Madrid, where English club Chelsea has emerged as a new and strong competitor to sign him on loan next January.

Endrick (19 years old) is seeking to leave "Madrid" after feeling frustrated by his limited playing time under coach Xabi Alonso, as he has only played 11 minutes despite recovering from injury two months ago.

The player's desire to get regular playing time has escalated, especially after public statements by the Brazilian national team coach, Carlo Ancelotti, which confirmed the necessity of participating to make it to the "Selecao" list for the World Cup.

Lyon's Offer

Real Madrid had almost finalized its agreement with French club Olympique Lyon to loan Endrick, and had received the player's approval.
Chelsea's Intervention

"Cadena Ser" confirmed that Chelsea inquired about the player's situation for a potential loan in January, which prompted Endrick to reconsider his options.

Loan Agreement Details.. Lyon the Likely Choice
Despite Chelsea's sudden entry into the negotiations, Lyon remains the likely choice. In this context, another report (quoting Canal+) disclosed details of the French offer, where the loan would cost the French club 800,000 euros, and includes an important clause imposing a financial penalty on Lyon in case Endrick does not reach 25 appearances, ensuring he gets the necessary playtime.

Real Madrid also retains the option to recall the player until January 15th in case one of their strikers suffers a serious injury."
