Khaberni - Stomach bacteria is one of the most common digestive system diseases among people and may cause some symptoms and health complications if its treatment is neglected. Although medical treatments play an effective role in this case, it is advised to follow a proper diet to prevent exacerbation of symptoms.

In this regard, "Khaberni" reviews some allowed and prohibited foods in the breakfast for stomach bacteria patients, as explained by Dr. Walaa Hosni, a consultant in therapeutic nutrition.

What are the allowed foods for stomach bacteria patients at breakfast? There are some foods that are recommended to eat at breakfast, due to their role in improving the symptoms of stomach bacteria, including light, easily digestible foods such as:1- Mashed potatoes with a little salt and olive oil, without adding spicy spices.2- Boiled white rice, as it is easy to digest and does not cause irritation in the stomach.3- You can eat yogurt added to it, pieces of vegetables or fruits, such as berries or bananas.4- Boiled eggs with a little olive oil, with pieces of vegetables like boiled zucchini.5- A plate of boiled vegetables such as zucchini with carrots, and potatoes with green beans.6- Beans with olive oil only, without adding the common spicy spices and seasonings among people.

What are the prohibited foods for stomach bacteria patients at breakfast? The consultant in therapeutic nutrition advises to avoid some of the following foods, as they may increase the symptoms of stomach bacteria and cause severe irritation, including:1- Fried foods containing saturated fats, such as falafel, baked goods, and fast food.2- Avoid eating acidic fruits at breakfast like oranges, mandarins, or lemons.3- Spicy foods and spices such as pepper or ginger, or beans added to them pepper, or eggplant soaked in hot spices known as "pickled eggplant".4- Salted cheese in addition to cheese that contains a high level of salts.5- Beverages that contain a high level of caffeine especially on an empty stomach, such as coffee or black tea.
