Khaberni - Many people frequently resort to taking painkillers to combat stomach pains, headaches, or other pains. Some may not realize that there are indeed foods that help naturally soothe pain, according to the website "WebMD":

1- Ginger
Ginger is a fundamental element in traditional medicine and is known for its anti-nausea and stomach-soothing properties. Some research indicates that ginger can reduce the pain of menstrual cramps.

2- Blueberries
This small, delicious fruit contains many plant nutrients that may fight inflammation and alleviate pain. If blueberries are out of season, frozen blueberries can have the same or even more nutrients than fresh. Other fruits rich in antioxidants and polyphenols, including strawberries and oranges, may have a similar soothing effect.

3- Pumpkin seeds
Pumpkin seeds are a great source of magnesium, a mineral that may reduce migraine attacks. It also may help prevent and treat osteoporosis. Despite what you might have heard, however, they do not seem to prevent nighttime leg cramps. For more magnesium, add almonds, cashews, dark leafy greens (like spinach and cabbage), beans, and lentils to your diet.

4- Salmon
Salmon is rich in anti-inflammatory omega-3 fatty acids and is among the healthiest foods. It is beneficial for the heart and may relieve joint pain if you suffer from rheumatoid arthritis. Other types of cold-water fish, including tuna, sardines, and mackerel, are also good choices. However, avoid tilapia and catfish: their high levels of omega-6 fatty acids may promote inflammation.

5- Turmeric
The compound in the spice, which gives curry its bright orange-yellow color, can affect many processes in the body, including inflammation. Studies on individuals with rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis who took curcumin supplements showed they could walk better and without the side effects of medications. Black pepper can help your body absorb it, so try mixing the spices.

6- Tart cherries
In one study, runners who drank tart cherry juice seven days before a race experienced significantly less muscle pain than a group that drank a similar-tasting drink without natural juice. This may be due to the antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds in the fruit.

7- Extra virgin olive oil
Do you feel a spicy sting in your throat? That's because of a compound called oleocanthal, which has anti-inflammatory properties. Extra virgin olive oil is part of a healthy diet and may alleviate joint pain when used topically. It also contains a protein that acts as a barrier preventing cartilage wear and tear.

8- Hot peppers
Capsaicin, the substance that gives hot peppers their strong taste, is known for its pain-relieving properties in creams and patches. Some early research suggests that consuming hot peppers, rather than applying them to the skin, may reduce and prevent inflammation. The spicy taste also tricks the brain into releasing endorphins, which block pain signals.

9- Peppermint
Peppermint oil eases painful cramps, gas, and bloating, which are key signs of irritable bowel syndrome. Peppermint tea is a good soother for occasional stomach upsets. In early research, Brazilian peppermint tea (extracted from the Hyptnis crenata plant) was effective as a prescription pain reliever.
