Khaberni - Sheikh Nadi Zidan, the muezzin of Al-Sayyida Zainab Mosque -may Allah be pleased with her- passed away during the ablution for the Fajr prayer. The funeral was held after the Friday prayer, led by the mosque's imam, Sheikh Ahmad Essam.
Sheikh Nadi Zidan lived closely attached to Al-Sayyida Zainab Mosque -may Allah be pleased with her- and died there. May Allah have abundant mercy on him, forgive him comprehensively and grant him a spacious place in His paradise.
Written prayer for the deceased
O Allah, protect him under the ground, shield him on the day of presentation, and do not disgrace him on the day they are resurrected «A day where neither money nor sons will benefit, except for those who come to Allah with a pure heart».
O Allah, secure him from the fright of the Day of Resurrection, and from the horrors of the Day of Resurrection, make his soul peaceful and secure, and instruct him in his argument.. O Allah, make him comfortable in the grave, safe when the witnesses arise, confident with Your pleasure, and a forerunner to Your highest degrees.. O Allah, place light to his right until You resurrect him safely and peacefully in a light from Your light.
O Allah, deal with him as You are worthy, and not as he is worthy. O Allah, reward him for his goodness with goodness, and for his errors with pardon and forgiveness.
O Allah, if he was virtuous, increase his good deeds, and if he was sinful, overlook his sins. O Allah, admit him into Paradise without reckoning or prior punishment.. O Allah, comfort him in his solitude, his terror, and his alienation. O Allah, grant him a blessed abode, and You are the best of those who provide a place.
