Khaberni - On this blessed day, with all feelings of respect, reverence, and loyalty, Jordanians, the Arab nation, and humanity as a whole remember the birthday of a great leader and an experienced builder, His Majesty King Hussein bin Talal, may God have mercy on him. It is the ninetieth anniversary of the birth of the man who laid the foundations of the modern Jordanian state, uplifted it during its darkest times, and left a timeless legacy deeply embedded in the conscience of every Jordanian, and in the country’s history filled with dedication.
In days like these, we recall not just a man, but a nation, a school in humanity and leadership, a philosophy in governance, and sublime values embodied in His Majesty's journey.
King Hussein lived for his homeland, Jordan, his Arab and Islamic nation, devoting his life to building it, and carving out its features with determination and perseverance, with the steadiness of the wise and the patience of a compassionate father. May God have mercy on him, he was the architect of the state institutions, instilled in his sons the meanings of genuine belonging, absolute loyalty, and the precious sacrifices for the dignity and height of the nation. He was, as many described him, a father, a leader, and a symbol of humanity, justice, and wisdom, educating generations after generations, thus becoming a role model and an example.
On this fragrant anniversary, we can only see a vibrant embodiment of the continuation of this blessed journey under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, may God protect him and care for him. His Majesty has carried the trust with mountain-like steadiness and the determination of men, and with the persistence of heroes, leading the nation with the courage of a lion and the wisdom of the sage, working sincerely and earnestly for the upliftment of Jordan and safeguarding its stability amidst the roaring sea of unprecedented regional and international challenges. As Jordanians, we stand behind our wise Hashemite leadership, behind His Majesty, unified like a well-built structure, supporting his far-sighted vision in modernization, development, and comprehensive reform, believing that his wise and prudent leadership is the safety valve, and the gateway through which we cross to a brighter and more hopeful future.
The promising national role of His Highness the Crown Prince, Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, may God protect and care for him, is evident to all. Since the beginning of his responsibilities, he has proven to be a genuine extension of the rigorous Hashemite approach, close to the people, their concerns, and leading youth and developmental initiatives that translate the ambitions and hopes of the Jordanian youth, to be a support for the nation and its leadership.
This national and loyal stand would not be complete without raising the highest signs of pride, admiration, and loyalty to our Jordanian Armed Forces – the Arab Army, and to our security agencies in all their formations. These valiant institutions stand behind our wise Hashemite leadership and form the first line of defense for the country's security, stability, sovereignty. These heroic men, who vigilantly protect Jordan's sanctities, borders, and achievements, and display the finest examples of belonging, sacrifice, and redemption, will remain, God willing, the solid shield and the impregnable wall for this beloved country. Their dedication, loyalty, and the people's rally around them and their leadership, are what make Jordan strong, resilient, and dignified, regardless of the storms and diverse challenges.
On this national and humanitarian blessed anniversary, the anniversary of the birth of Hussein the builder, we affirm our pledge and promise, to continue walking the path drawn by His Majesty, behind our wise Hashemite leadership, loyal to the homeland, proud of our victorious leadership with His Majesty King Abdullah II, and His Highness the trustworthy Crown Prince, may God protect them, and extremely proud of our armed forces and security agencies. Jordan, with its wise leadership and loyal people, will remain a model of resilience, achievement, and harmony, God willing.
