Rasmia Billingham in danger with The Three Lions

Khaberni - Jude Bellingham may have to wait to return to England's starting lineup, as Thomas Tuchel, the technical director, said today, Wednesday, that he is not in a hurry to change his playing style to accommodate the Real Madrid star.

Since Bellingham's last appearance for the English team in the friendly match they lost 1-3 against Senegal in June, Morgan Rogers has become the playmaker, shining in the two matches where the English team won with a clean five goals against Serbia and Latvia, securing "The Three Lions" their seat in the 2026 World Cup.
Bellingham has returned to the team list after fully recovering from a shoulder injury, and Tuchel sees him in the playmaker position, putting him in direct competition with Rogers.

Tuchel said at a press conference before facing Serbia in the World Cup qualifiers tomorrow, Thursday: "They are friends, so this can be a friendly competition."

He added: "You don't have to become enemies, you don't have to hate each other. They respect each other, they are friends, and now they are only competing for the same position."

He confirmed: "Can they play together? Yes, but in a different way of playing, and perhaps this is not the right moment to make a change in our way."

Tuchel mentioned that the factor that may complicate Bellingham's return is that he and Phil Foden, another attacking midfielder who regained his place in the list, have not yet participated in any full training session this week, adding that this will happen later on Wednesday.

The English team became the first European team to qualify for the World Cup last month, so there is no pressure on Tuchel, before the matches against Serbia and Germany in the last two rounds of the group.

The German coach said there is no rush for next year's championship.

He continued: "Many things can happen. No one wants injuries to occur, but they happen, players can withdraw or lose their form, and other players might emerge in good form, so I am very open to the coming months."
