Khaberni - Arab University of Amman is keen on enhancing fruitful academic interaction between students and faculty, solidifying a sense of belonging and perseverance from the beginning of the new academic year. The College of Sharia at Arab University of Amman held a face-to-face welcoming meeting, where Dr. Kifah Alsouri, Dean of the College of Sharia, met with the students alongside Dr. Alaa Al-Bourini, Head of the Sharia Department, and several faculty members.
Dr. Alsouri opened the meeting with a welcoming address to the students expressing her pleasure with their joining the College of Sharia family. She emphasized that the College of Sharia at Arab University of Amman is a beacon of science striving to combine authenticity with modernity in the study of Sharia sciences. She praised the importance of committing to the ethical and scientific values that distinguish the college students, inviting everyone to invest their study years in acquiring the skills and competencies needed for excellence in the job market and serving the community. She added that Arab University of Amman provides special care to students by offering a stimulating academic environment based on constructive dialogue, interaction, and thinking, in addition to extracurricular activities that contribute to building a scientifically and humanly balanced personality.
Dr. Al-Bourini presented an introductory overview of the academic plans and academic advising mechanisms, explaining the department's role in monitoring students and providing academic support and guidance to them. She emphasized the importance of continuous communication with faculty members and benefiting from their experiences to achieve the best educational learning outcomes.
The meeting featured an open dialogue between the students and the faculty members addressing various academic and student issues, where students had the opportunity to raise their inquiries and suggestions in a friendly and positive interactive atmosphere. At the end of the meeting, Dr. Alsouri expressed her gratitude to all attendees, affirming that the College of Sharia at Arab University of Amman will remain an exemplary model in combining firm knowledge and high values, and preparing an aware generation capable of contributing to the service of religion, homeland, and society.
