Khaberni - Stemming from the vision of Amman Arab University to enhance social bonds among students and encourage them to adopt humanitarian values through creating opportunities for positive interaction and active participation in the student community, Dr. Mohammed bin Tarif, the Dean of Student Affairs, inaugurated on behalf of Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Wadyan, the President of the University, the events of the initiatives "Give Me Your Book" and "Student Guidance" organized by the Dean of Student Affairs, with Dr. Rami Hanandeh and Dr. Layal Al-Zoubi, the Dean's Assistants for Student Affairs, and members of the administrative staff in the deanery present, in addition to active participation from students across various specializations.

 

In this context, Dr. Bin Tarif noted that the "Give Me Your Book" initiative is one of the quarterly initiatives of the Dean of Student Affairs office that aims to enhance social responsibility among students through their exchange of scientific references and books, adopting behaviors that enhance sustainability by reusing books for more than one student, and mentioned that the "Student Guidance" initiative aims to facilitate the adjustment process between students and the university environment and speed up the transactions that could serve students in various university departments.

 

In turn, Dr. Hanandeh affirmed his support for these initiatives which aim to enhance the spirit of cooperation among students and their significant impact in fostering responsibility among them, the accessibility for all university students, and encouraging them to participate in such initiatives and maximize the benefits from available resources. The "Student Guidance" initiative also encourages the transfer of our current students' experiences to new students, acquainting them with all the services offered by the university that enrich their knowledge and help them integrate into university life and prepare them to provide these services in the future to incoming students, thus creating an atmosphere of interaction and sustainability for such student initiatives.

 

For her part, Dr. Al-Zoubi highlighted the importance of such initiatives that reflect the spirit of community responsibility among university students and enhance the principle of sharing and giving among the students themselves. She pointed out that the initiatives “Give Me Your Book” and “Student Guidance” embody a positive image of cooperation and solidarity within the university environment, praising the efforts of the students implementing the initiatives and confirming the continuous support of the Dean of Student Affairs for all that contributes to the development of awareness and building an assertive and influential student generation in its community.

 

It is worth mentioning that Amman Arab University is striving through these initiatives to spread a culture of giving and participation, and to encourage students to care about social responsibility, which is part of the university's mission to build an aware and responsible generation capable of contributing to building a better future.
