Khaberni - Informed sources revealed that Yasser Abu Shabab met with the son-in-law of the American President, Jared Kushner, at the American command headquarters in southern Israel.
The sources added in statements to "Al Arabiya/Al Hadath" channel on Tuesday that Kushner discussed with Abu Shabab the role of his "forces" in the areas from which Hamas is withdrawing in the Gaza Strip.
The exit of Hamas fighters from the Rafah tunnels was also discussed, as it was mentioned that the role of "Abu Shabab's forces" in securing the exit of Hamas fighters from the tunnels in southern Gaza was discussed.
It was pointed out that representatives of Abu Shabab are present daily at the American command headquarters in southern Israel.
About 200 fighters, this comes amid the uncertainty still surrounding the fate of dozens of Hamas fighters trapped in tunnels in an area in Rafah controlled by Israeli forces.
While Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu earlier on Tuesday confirmed that he had not agreed to their release. He also clarified that he had not committed to Washington to release the Hamas militants held in Rafah, according to the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation.
Kushner had also discussed with Netanyahu on Monday, the issue of those trapped in Rafah and the next phase of the American plan for Gaza.
It is worth mentioning that the fate of about 200 fighters had complicated efforts to move the ceasefire talks in Gaza, which are taking place between Israel and Hamas, to the next stage aimed at ensuring a permanent end to the ongoing war for two years.
