Khaberni - Representative Mahmoud Al-Naimat attacked former Finance Minister Mohammad Al-Assas and the former Prime Minister, during discussions on the 2026 public budget law in the House of Representatives today, Tuesday.
Al-Naimat stated under the dome that "a single lunch and dinner bill for Al-Assas amounted to 80,000 dinars", indicating what he described as a lack of expenditure control in previous governments.
Al-Naimat's remarks followed Finance Minister Abdel Hakim Al-Shibli's budget speech before the council.
