Khaberni - Haaretz reported that the Israeli Knesset approved in a first reading the "Island Law," which allows the closure of any media outlet without a judicial decision.

The newspaper added that the "Island Law" was supported by 50 members of the Knesset in its first reading, rejected by 41, and opposed by the legal advisor.
