Khaberni - The popular Egyptian singer Ismail El Leithy died on the evening of Monday, November 10, 2025, due to serious injuries he sustained in a collision on the Eastern Desert Road in Egypt.
Medical sources at Malawi General Hospital announced the death of the popular singer Ismail El Leithy due to severe injuries he suffered in a collision that occurred a few days ago, which resulted in several victims and injuries. El Leithy had been transferred to the hospital in critical condition and underwent intensive treatment in the intensive care unit since the accident.
In the last hours before his death, his health condition significantly deteriorated despite attempts by the medical team to revive his vital functions. Dr. Ahmed Omar, the director of Malawi Hospital in Minya, stated earlier on Sunday, November 9, that the deceased singer was still in a critical phase, despite slight improvements in blood pressure and respiratory regulation, while remaining in a complete coma.
The hospital director mentioned that the medical team made significant efforts to stabilize his condition and improve oxygen levels in his body, confirming that his brothers were by his side from the moment he entered the hospital to monitor his health and pray for him. He also explained that the care provided was comprehensive, yet his severe injuries did not allow him to survive long.
The artist's brother had arrived at Malawi Hospital earlier to check on his condition after it had worsened, where several family members and relatives gathered at the hospital to monitor his health developments, before the doctors declared his death due to his injuries.
The details of the accident go back to when the security forces in Minya Security Directorate received a notification from the emergency operations room reporting a horrific collision between two private cars on the Eastern Desert Road in front of Malawi center, resulting in the death of four people and injuring six others, including the singer Ismail El Leithy and several members of his musical band.
Immediately, security forces and ambulances rushed to the scene of the accident, where the injured were transferred to Malawi General Hospital for the necessary treatment, while the bodies of the deceased were kept at the morgue under the disposal of the public prosecution, which undertook the investigation of the incident.
On the other hand, a medical source reported that the child Omar, who was also injured in the same accident, had undergone several surgeries and began to respond to treatment and drink water, noting that his condition is gradually improving.
Ismail El Leithy is considered one of the prominent names in Egyptian popular song in recent years, as he became famous for presenting a number of songs that achieved widespread popularity, in addition to his participation in several artistic works and music festivals both inside and outside Egypt.
